Urgent Action Needed
A Call for Evidence-Based Policies on Gender Identity in Schools
Dear CPAL Supporters,
We, the Concerned Parents Association of London (CPAL), are sending a strong message to the Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB) regarding the importance of revisiting their gender identity policies. Our goal is to ensure that all students receive an education rooted in facts, academic integrity, and the best interests of their well-being, rather than being influenced by ideology.
As part of our commitment to evidence-based, student-centered policies, we are sharing an open letter we’ve sent to TVDSB leadership, trustees, superintendents, and senior support staff. In this letter, we highlight the challenges posed by the current approach to gender identity policies in schools and provide resources that demonstrate how other schools have successfully walked back harmful gender ideologies.
You can read/download the PDF letter here:
Why This Matters:
It is essential that our schools remain places of open dialogue and critical thinking, where students are not pushed into ideological trends that could have long-lasting consequences. Recent pressures have led to the adoption of gender ideology policies in many schools, but the evidence supporting these policies is increasingly being questioned. Parents deserve the right to ensure their children are receiving a well-rounded education, free from potentially harmful social trends.
Action You Can Take:
We are calling on all CPAL supporters and concerned parents to take action now:
